Frequently Asked Questions

What is spray lining with the ProLight?

Spray lining is a trenchless rehabilitation method where liquid epoxy is sprayed onto the internal pipe wall using a rotating spray head. The ProLight applies an even epoxy layer inside pipes Ø40–125 mm without any excavation.

What is the difference between spray lining and brush coating?

Spray lining applies epoxy by atomisation through a rotating head for a thin, even layer. Brush coating applies a thicker layer using a mechanical brush head. The ProLight supports both methods.

Which epoxy does the ProLight use?

The ProLight is compatible with Nodig BSE Epoxy — a two-component (2K) epoxy with high adhesion, elasticity and hardness, available in grey or white.

For which pipe diameters is the ProLight suitable?

The ProLight rehabilitates pipes from Ø40 to Ø125 mm (DN40–DN125). For larger pipes up to DN150, see the ProLight2.

How long does the epoxy coating last?

Properly applied epoxy coating extends pipe service life by over 50 years. The cured coating resists corrosion, root intrusion and chemical attack.

Does ProLight require excavation?

No. The ProLight is inserted through existing access points (cleanouts, inspection openings). No excavation or disruption to surfaces is needed.
